A New Fire Station

Under the leadership of Samuel B. Ings, a new fire station was built in the Washington Shores community. Fire Station Number 7 was the place where the first African-American Firefighters were stationed. The area now has a new fire station in the heart of the community.

A New Police Station

Samuel B. Ings has always been committed to public safety. As a result, a new community police office was placed in the MetroWest Community. The Southwest Community Police Office includes a community room available for neighborhood and local business meetings and community gatherings. Samuel B. Ings will increase the number of substations and police in communities once he is elected Mayor of Orlando.
