Sam B. Ings has always been a dream builder for his District and the City of Orlando. The demand from his constituents to assist with community programs far exceeded his small budget for the District. He noticed that many of the programs needing funding would positively change lives in Orlando. Sam B. Ings is indeed a man of action.  Rather than say no or use  the typical excuse of “It’s not in the budget,” Sam B. Ings decided to say “yes" and he found a way to do so. He had the vision to raise funds for the District by partnering with corporations in Orlando and started the Red Tie Celebrity Golf Extravaganza.

 "The Red Tie” is his signature fundraiser to raise additional funds for his District and for other nonprofits throughout Orlando. Since 2011, Sam B. Ings has raised more than $250,000, allowing him to provide scholarships and provide funding for over 50 Organizations including:
